KPBS, ABC 10: Streamer assaulted at TwitchCon San Diego 2025

We immediately blocked this individual from returning to the TwitchCon premises, and they are banned indefinitely from Twitch, both online and in-person events.

Apparently this bit wasn’t the original case, instead the guy got a 30-day ban on Twitch (the service). The streamer’s security guard from a past TwitchCon got a permanent ban from the convention center for detaining someone (until SDPD/SDSD arrived) who had done something similar a few years back

aren’t they required by their contract to attend twitchcon? but twitch fails to provide adequate security?
